Total annual mean PM₁₀ (2004) = Annual mean secondary PM₁₀ (1996) x 0.8 + PM₁₀ (coarse) + Annual mean black smoke x 0.8 Total PM₁₀ (2004) is expressed in units of µg/m³, gravimetric. PM₁₀ (coarse) is expressed in units of µg/m³, TEOM, and is assumed to be 8 µg/m³.
