<p>This is the operators' Instruction Manual for the old Smoke and Sulphur Dioxide Network (formerly the National Survey of Air Pollution) that operated in the UK between 1961 and 2005.</p>

<p>Although the network is no longer in operation, there is still interest in the data produced and the methods used. Therefore, the most recent version of the network instruction manual has been made available here for reference purposes.</p>
